BARN HOUSE ~ A Look Back...

For those of us who were part of the annual BARN HOUSE Flea, we're all finding ourselves a little sad these days because this year, there is no BARN HOUSE Vintage Market to look forward to.

This is the week we would all be reuniting at Joe & Jermonne's farm to set up and prepare for the
BARN HOUSE Vintage Market.

Each year this one-day event  was attended by hundreds if not thousands of people.  BARN HOUSE Vintage Market was voted and published as one of the best vintage shows in the Northwest.

But for us, it was more than just setting up for a show.  It was a week long reunion of good friends, fun, long talks, camp fires, good food, horse-play, laughter and so much more.

We all truly loved being together and working together doing what we love.
That's what it's all about.

The BH boys have moved on to Texas and we miss them dearly.
But we will never forget what they created at their home, their friendship, love, hugs, tears and kindness.

I am now the proud owner of the BARN HOUSE sign that proudly hung on their barn.
It now resides on the side of my barn. I am reminded everyday of the good times spent with my dear friends and it makes me smile.

Joe & Jermonne
I miss your smile and laughter.
Don't ever forget the ones who love you.

BARN HOUSE memories...priceless.

omg Joyce...HOW SPECIAL! I was never able to attend the show but lived thru your photos! I wanted so bad to go and be apart of it all! When Charley and I went up to Oregon we had to find the boys house just so I could drive by and "feel it."
Thanks so much for sharing! I loved seeing all the photos again!!

Kathee...I wish you could have been there too. It has left a big void this year and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels the same way.
Call me! hugs

Joyce, that was so BEAUTIFUL . . . . For those of us who experienced it up close and personal as vendors, as well as customers, it was a "slice of life" incomparable! Thanks for the step back in time. I know I'm not alone in looking forward to seeing what path Joe and Jermonne take in the not-too-distant future!!! Thanks so much for the lovely post--enjoyed it thoroughly!! xoxo Debi/a.k.a. "Ormolulu"

These barns were used for the storage purpose at start but when people started using them as barns, it became a great choice to use as a barn home.
