A Day of R & R...

Today was a day to take a drive and enjoy the beautiful scenery  and soak up some much needed sunshine.

And much needed R & R with my guys.

I should have been working on taxes, laundry and pricing new treasures for my space at Monticello, but hey, which one would you have chosen??
Hope your hump day was as nice as mine!

All Things Moss...

Spring is in the air...

and with the rainy season, comes moss...
Lots of moss...

But when it comes to statuary,
I say,  the more moss, the better!

I'm so ready for Spring!
How about you?

Cabin Fever & A Winter Wonderland...

Well hello everyone!
It's been awhile since my last post but I'm back and ready to get started on blogging again!  It seems that blogging dropped off for a lot of us but I'm noticing that some of us are getting back to it and that makes me happy!  I think Facebook took the place of blogging because it's quicker and easier to check in on everyone but I think blogging has it's advantages too so I'm hoping to see more friends jump back on the bandwagon.

So with that said, I'm starting this new blog year with pictures of our first snow storm of 2014, and I hope it's the last!  This is day three of being stuck inside and cabin fever is setting in.
My car is buried in a foot of snow and I'm not going anywhere!

I thought I'd show you what my view is in winter wonderland.

The snow is so beautiful and still falling but it's toasty inside by the fire.
Hope you're having a great day!

Thanks for stopping by.  I'll be back soon!

Nina Hartmann - A Beautiful Book Full of Inspiration...

The most anticipated book is here!
Nina Hartmann has done it again and this time it's bigger and better!

I wanted to share just a few of the many beautiful photographs you'll find in her new book. If you love authentic all things french, you're going to absolutely love this book.  It's filled with over 200 beautiful photographs...the perfect coffee table book.

Take a look...

I'm very excited to share this inspiring book!  I will have it available for purchase at Monticello Antique Marketplace beginning October 10th.  This book is not available in stores and I only have a limited amount so don't wait because they won't last long!

A note from Nina...

Calamity Janes at Monticello Antique Marketplace...

I've been away from my blog w.a.y. too long, I know.  August was a whirlwind and now we're halfway through September already...Geeeeez!

Anyway,  here's what's new in my space at Monticello Antique Marketplace.  In fact, a few of these pieces sold before I could get these picture posted, but I wanted to share them with you anyway.

This sweet French twin bed only lasted a few days.

Thanks for stopping by!

BARN HOUSE ~ A Look Back...

For those of us who were part of the annual BARN HOUSE Flea, we're all finding ourselves a little sad these days because this year, there is no BARN HOUSE Vintage Market to look forward to.

This is the week we would all be reuniting at Joe & Jermonne's farm to set up and prepare for the
BARN HOUSE Vintage Market.

Each year this one-day event  was attended by hundreds if not thousands of people.  BARN HOUSE Vintage Market was voted and published as one of the best vintage shows in the Northwest.

But for us, it was more than just setting up for a show.  It was a week long reunion of good friends, fun, long talks, camp fires, good food, horse-play, laughter and so much more.

We all truly loved being together and working together doing what we love.
That's what it's all about.

The BH boys have moved on to Texas and we miss them dearly.
But we will never forget what they created at their home, their friendship, love, hugs, tears and kindness.

I am now the proud owner of the BARN HOUSE sign that proudly hung on their barn.
It now resides on the side of my barn. I am reminded everyday of the good times spent with my dear friends and it makes me smile.

Joe & Jermonne
I miss your smile and laughter.
Don't ever forget the ones who love you.

BARN HOUSE memories...priceless.
